Weymouth Veterans Council Visits State House - 2023

This afternoon, members of the Weymouth Veterans Council visited the State House to fulfill their annual tradition of laying a wreath at the Ralph Talbot Plaque outside of the House Chambers. As part of their visit, I was proud to be able to introduce them during the Senate’s budget deliberations where they were each recognized for their contributions to our nation.
Weymouth boasts a remarkable and esteemed military heritage. Within our community, we hold deep regard for the service members, both past and present, who have dedicated themselves to our nation. The Veterans Council works very hard to ensure that the proper recognition is given to those citizens of Weymouth who have fought for our freedom and we are thankful for their work.
