Yesterday was the annual Citizen and Business of the Year awards event put on by the Norwell Chamber of Commerce. I am honored to have been invited and share in the celebration of the residents and businesses of Norwell who have gone above and beyond for the community. The party not only celebrated the honorees, but available for tasting was food and desserts provided by Norwell restaurants and chefs which was an awesome way to integrate socialization and community building into awards night.
Those who received awards who I'd like to recognize are as followed: Citizens of the Year went to Judy and Stephen Petraske, and Business of the Year went to Norwell Spotlight TV. The 2024 Rising Star Awards went to the Norwell Commission on Disabilities, Jill Donovan of Norwell Arts, Margaret Lynch of the Council on Aging, Christine Johnson of the Norwell Women's Club, Autumn Hospice, and Type One Fitness. Congratulations to all the individuals and businesses who received recognition, and thank you for all of the hard work and service that you put into the town of Norwell and the South Shore.
