I am thrilled to share that Lara Brait has been recognized as one of the winners of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women’s Commonwealth Heroine Award!
Lara has been an outstanding leader in Marshfield and throughout the South Shore communities for many years. As the Executive Director of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce, she has tirelessly advocated for the interests of business owners and workers across the South Shore. Since 2019, she has also served as a member of the Marshfield School Committee, taking a leading role as Chair from 2021 to 2022. During her tenure, Lara played a pivotal role in the establishment of a groundbreaking mental health program for students in Marshfield.
In addition to her roles within the chamber and school committee, Lara continues to make a difference in our community through her service as a Board Member for the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club and Alice's House in Humarock.
Lara Brait is a shining example of a true unsung heroine, tirelessly working to make our community a better place for all. Her impact, advocacy, and compassionate spirit touch the lives of countless individuals. It was an honor to nominate Lara and she is fully deserving of this recognition.
