Happy 100th Birthday to Ed Whittaker of Weymouth! Yesterday, I was able to join many of Ed’s family and friends in a drive-by-parade to help celebrate this incredible milestone.
Ed served as an Army cannoneer in World War II, is a former editor of The Milton Transcript, and was a regular at the Whipple Senior Center before the pandemic. He also overcame COVID-19 this past spring and attributed his recovery to his tight bonds with his daughters and his “determination to reunite my life with my family.”
