It was great to see strong support at Wellspring Multi-Service Center’s Inaugural Golf Tournament and Reception! A big thanks goes to Coastal Volkswagen for donating a brand-new 2022 VW Taos as a raffle prize and to all who joined to support Wellspring's mission.
Wellspring provides critical wrap-around services for those in need - their social services include classes in career development, job skills, and equivalency diploma preparation. The Hull-based nonprofit also has a thrift store and food pantry, and provides emergency services, elder services, counseling, and other forms of community outreach. I am proud to say that I was able to secure $22,000 for the organization in the FY22 Senate budget and continue to work to include that language in the final version of our state budget.
We are very lucky to have Wellspring on the South Shore and I appreciate everyone who has supported their mission over the years.
