Always great to catch up with my friends at the Talking Information Center! Last night, the TIC hosted their annual Gratitude Gala to raise funding for their crucial programming providing the low vision community with access to the same information sighted individuals have.
During the pandemic, their listenership tripled as people looked for new ways to feel connected with others. With over 200 volunteers and 322 publications to broadcast each week, there are so many people to say thank you to.
Very proud to have secured the TIC $350,000 in the senate budget to support their work. Thank you again to all who make the network the resource that it is.
