I wanted to send a big thanks to our summer interns for their help over the past few months. Eden, India, John, Julia, and Shannon were great additions in all aspects of our work – researching various pieces of legislation, drafting constituent correspondence, writing press releases, and filling in where they could.
This group of summer interns had a wide range of experiences and perspectives that I think really added to our office: Eden is originally from Weymouth and is attending Suffolk Law, India is from Cohasset and studying at Colby College, John is from Newton and attending Acadia University in Canada, Julia is from Hingham and is attending Milton Academy, and Shannon is originally from Hingham and currently resides in Hull and attends Boston College.
Although opportunities to be at the State House were limited, we still managed to have them up to show them around the building and even bumped into the Governor on one occasion. Thanks again to our interns — we’re wishing you luck in all of your future endeavors!
