WEYMOUTH, MA – This week, Senator O’Connor (R-Weymouth) had the opportunity to stop by the Farmhouse Baking Co. in South Weymouth to congratulate Jess and Mike Anderson on opening up their first brick-and-mortar location.
In 2019, the Weymouth residents began making cookies for friends and family as a hobby to occupy their time. Word of their tasty treats soon spread and orders from complete strangers were being requested week after week. Late in 2020, the Anderson’s decided to dedicate more time to the venture and opened up their first café at 12 Columbian Street.
“Although Jess and Mike have moved from their kitchen to a brand-new store, they have kept that same passion for baking and the quality couldn’t be any better,” said O’Connor. “This is an exciting next step for the Farmhouse Baking Co. and I highly recommend a visit to anyone who finds themselves in the area.”
The small-batch bakery specializes in French macarons and takes pride in creating cookies for any special event. To learn more about the Farmhouse Baking Company, visit their website at www.farmhousebaking.co.
