Chief Murphy's passion for firefighting runs deep in his family. With a father who served as a retired Quincy fire captain, an uncle as a former chief in Belmont, a brother served as chief in Braintree, and two nephews proudly serving as firefighters, it's evident that public safety is a calling that resonates within his blood.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chief Murphy's commitment to helping others and his appreciation for the power of teamwork have been truly inspiring. His genuine care for our community made him a true asset to Scituate.
