This morning, I had the chance to present NVNA and Hospice CEO Renee McInnes with an $80,000 check from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to support their new telehealth program.
As in-home visits fell during the pandemic, Renee and the team pivoted to provide more telehealth services using iPads and smart phones. As we look ahead to the post COVID-19 era, it’s clear that these newer services are here to stay and this funding will allow them to maintain the crucial technology they need.
I am very proud to have secured this funding in the FY 22 budget and am very thankful that we have an organization like NVNA in our community
