Thank you to the 8th grade class at the Gates Middle School in Scituate for hosting me and Rep. Kearney today to discuss civics and our roles as local elected officials.
This was a very engaging group of students and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Scituate’s Government and Civic Life course, offered to the 8th grade class, provides a great opportunity for students to learn about the United States and Massachusetts government. I was so impressed and honored to meet our future leaders.
