It was great to join the Weymouth Lodge of Elks virtual awards ceremony last night for the organizations’ Americanism Essay Contest.
The essay theme this year was “What Does Freedom of Speech Mean to Me?”. For the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to attend these ceremonies and each year I walk away impressed with the level of insight our young people provide on the American spirit. Congratulations to the students below who placed at the local level and best of luck to those moving on to the state level contest.
