New England Wildlife Center (NEWLC) programs and services provide a critical link between animals and people, inspire environmental awareness, and build the skills needed to preserve nature for future generations.
Today, Rep. Murphy and I had the opportunity to present the organization with a $100,000 check from the Commonwealth’s Department of Fish and Game. The NEWLC is also set to receive an additional $100,000 in the coming months stemming from the federal ARPA funding. I sincerely appreciated the time the staff took to talk with us about how they have increased their reach during COVID, the strain the pandemic has placed on their fundraising efforts, and how this funding will help support their mission moving forward.
