Last evening, three amazing people, Jean Moriarty, Fred Podbelski and Carol Shrand, were honored at the induction ceremony for the Marshfield Schools Wall of Honor.
Jean Moriarty was a Daniel Webster School teacher and assistant principal for over 30 years.
Fred Podbelski was a teacher at Marshfield High School for over 30 years and was the head coach of the girls state soccer team for 20 years. In 1994, he led the team to the Division I State Championship.
I had the pleasure of recognizing the inductees for their contributions to the community. They each had a profound impact on Marshfield Public Schools and their legacy will be forever enshrined as members of the Wall of Honor.
