Over the weekend, Rep. Josh Cutler and I had the opportunity to join Duxbury’s Town Meeting and congratulate some of the people who have dedicated their time to bettering the town over the years.
First up was Theodore Flynn who has served the town more than four decades - including 12 years on the Select Board and 13 years on the Board of Library Trustees. We also recognized George Wadsworth for his 40 years of public service to the Town of Duxbury. Additionally, we recognized Michael Thorp for his 13 years of service, and John Q. Adams for his five years of service.
With roughly 100 years of service to the Town between the four of them, this group is wholly deserving of our thanks for all they have done. Congratulations again!
