The 85th Citizens’ Legislative Seminar (CLS) was a great success! I sincerely appreciated the opportunity to meet with participants this year to talk about the importance of bipartisanship, compromise, and putting the needs of your constituents above politics. Also a big thanks goes to my constituent, Susan Green of Hull, for participating this year.
As a reminder, the CLS was established in 1976, and consists of a two-day seminar featuring presentations by Senators and staff on aspects of their day-to-day experience, reviews the legislative process, and culminates in a simulated legislative hearing and Senate session attendees participate as a Senator.
Congratulations again to all the participants.
