It was an honor to join the flag raising ceremony earlier today at Vietnam Memorial Park in North Weymouth.
As part of the first phase of upgrades to the park, six new 15ft flag poles were donated by Weymouth 400 to honor each military branch. Today, each branch flag was raised by a Weymouth Veteran. In addition, special guest Chuck Chesna was on hand to raise the American Flag to begin the ceremony.
