Enchanted Village at the Hamilton School

I had the chance to visit the Hamilton School in Weymouth to say thank you to head custodian Doug Bowen for once again creating the “enchanted village” in the school for the holiday season.
For the past 15 years, Doug spends over 18 hours setting up the village with trains, buildings, holiday decorations, and notable characters. The vast majority of the things you see in these photos, Doug created on his own time for the enjoyment of the kids.
The display this year is spectacular and the kids love it. Doug is truly one-of-a-kind, and I am so grateful to have people like him in the district who go out of their way to brighten up other people’s day.
