It was a privilege to be in Duxbury yesterday to congratulate 18 students for their participation in the Lappin Foundation's Holocaust Symposium.
Over the summer, these students took part in an immersive learning experience, talked directly with Survivors and Professors, read The Librarian of Auschwitz, and traveled to Washington D.C. for a VIP tour of the National Holocaust Museum. They've written reflections, submitted news articles, made videos, shared their vulnerabilities and connected as a group.
I am very proud of their efforts and the steps they have taken to stand up against hate and promote human dignity.
I’d also like to send thanks to Josh Kraft, son of Patriots Owner Bob Kraft, and the Foundation to Combat Anti-Semitism for the support they have shown to this effort in Duxbury and many more across the Commonwealth.
