Congratulations to the cadets that graduated from the Weymouth Police Department Junior Police Academy! It was an honor to attend their graduation last Friday and hear directly from the cadets about their experience.
The program reviewed procedures from a variety of law enforcement agencies, including local and State Police, Norfolk County sheriff’s, Transit Police, and State Environmental Police. Cadets were also able to learn from Weymouth’s Fire Department, South Shore Hospital emergency medical technicians, and emergency dispatchers to ensure they had a full accounting of those in emergency response.
A big thanks to Lt. James St. Croix for running the program and working with our young people to help them understand the goals of law enforcement.
