Congratulations to the The Arc of the South Shore on your very first residential smart home! Last night, the organization hosted a ribbon cutting to unveil the first of their ten planned smart homes that will allow for more independence and empowerment to their residents.
The $1 million renovation project has updated and modernized the five-bedroom dwelling by incorporating smart home technology to remotely automate many everyday tasks via internet connection. Smart home features in place at the two-floor residence include external high security cameras, a ring camera, voice-activated lighting, hands-free faucets, and full-speed internet.
This project will make an invaluable difference in the lives of its residents, and I am so proud to have the Arc leading the way in our community.
