Every year that I serve as a judge at the Weymouth High School Capstone Fair, I am blown away with the projects our students present. We are lucky to have some of the most intelligent and engaged young people in our community.
Madison Kowinski took a look at how burnout affects the healthcare field, Nick Kuja researched mental health in sports, Amelia Ngatha is a junior who plans to pursue political science when she goes to college, and Bryan Amorim’s project focused on financial literacy. Each of them was invested in their elective capstone project and demonstrated a command of what they’ve learned in real-world contexts.
I’m very proud of all of the students that participated in the fair and look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the years ahead.
