BOSTON, MA – The Massachusetts State Police is comprised of more than 2,000 highly trained and motivated individuals who provide a vast array of public safety services to the citizens and other public safety agencies in the Commonwealth. The department is currently recruiting candidates to become troopers and has set an application deadline of April 20th. Those who apply will be administered a written exam on June 12th.
“The profession comes with a great amount of responsibility and I appreciate the dedication those who have stepped up to serve in law enforcement have shown to public safety,” said Senator Patrick O’Connor (R-Weymouth). “I’d encourage anyone who has considered serving their community to apply and take the written exam. I'm wishing the best of luck to this year’s applicants.”
