Volunteers from Duxbury Rotary Club and Duxbury American Legion helped staff hand out 84 pre-ordered dinners Thursday. In November, the Senior Center delivered 939 meals in the community. The Senior Center has made it a point to support local restaurants and stores, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Senior Center Director Joanne Moore said, “We are trying our best to keep traditions alive, and since we can’t be together in person, we are creating unique and innovative experiences to bring a sense of community and joy this holiday season and all year long. As always, we are thankful to our community partners who help us make this happen.”
