Today, the Carvalho brothers, Victor and Octavio, of Weymouth celebrated the grand re-opening of the original Dunkin’ Donuts location in Quincy.
In 1979, their father Jose, a Rhode Island factory worker, bought the original Dunkin’ franchise on Southern Artery. Since then they have gone on to open 8 locations throughout the South Shore. The new space is a modern take on the classic store and looks absolutely incredible.
They have been an amazing family to work with over the years and are always there for the community. During todays grand re-opening, the Carvalho family presented Interfaith Social Services with a $5,000 check to support their food pantry that serves over 1,000 people each month.
