Today the Lawrence Pingree School in Weymouth had a special visit from Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito to celebrate STEM Week and see the great work being done by the students in Ms. Marcella’s 5th grade class.
This years theme is “See Yourself in STEM.” Schools throughout Massachusetts are participating to raise awareness for students about the future of technology and the potential employment opportunities available.
As always, it was great to be joined by Mayor Hedlund, Superintendent Robert Wargo, Assistant Superintendent Melanie Curtin, and Principal Kathleen Guilfoy on the visit. Thanks again to the staff at the Pingree school and the Administration at Weymouth Public Schools for having us today.
